A GooglePages Protest

I've been trying to type an article all morning, but googlepages insists on auto formatting or effin' with everything I have been trying to type. Infact, just a quick glance at the screen now reveals that for some reason the font has changed size twice and gone from double to single space with me having not adjusted a single setting. Now, I don't know about my fellow netizens, but when I am spending the kind of money that I am for this website I demand service!! OK, it appears the problem has rectified itself, but I'm too exhausted from trying to get the article I was trying to write up and running...

OK, change of plan, it appears that the problem has rectified itself, either that or my IT department have made an internet 'patch' to fix the 'glitch' and/or 'bug'... Below you will find THE most classic video ever. This video is literally what inspired me to become such an internet phenom/icon (aka 'phenomicon'). This video inspired me to greatness and I know it will inspire you too. R.I.P. Darrell Bluett

The world of motivational speaking lost one of its greats yesterday. Again, we feel like the bearers of bad news, but we feels it's our duty to get this message out...

Darrell Bluett died, unexpectedly, on the couch in an acquiantance's house in the city in which he resided. Pre-deceased by his great, great grand-mother ( 'huge') and loving grand-mother (no word on her size), Darrell will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Below is the last known video footage of his work, we're including it here, not to exploit Bluett and his family, but rather as a celebration, an homage - if you will. Who knows, maybe he'll provide you with that little nugget of wisdom you were needing to get your life back on track.

...God speed you, Darrell. God speed you forever and ever.

The internet community is reeling today in light of the press release greeting Netizens as they all, no doubt, made their daily trip over to ytmnd.com to see what's the buzz.

Millions of shocked netizens stared in disblief at their screens fighting to come to grips with the announcement.

"I... I... I..." was all that one dedicated netizen was able to say when asked for comment.

I will say that as much as I want to believe this is just some sick joke Max is playing on the world, I find it very disconcerting that a search did not immediately bring this site directly to the top of the list

I speak on behalf of netizens everywhere when I say, "you're the man now dog"... Thank you. Thank you and please never go away

Finally, in other April Fools news I was heartbroken to see that google neglected to prank their loyal users today. I thought there'd be a notice that all gmail accounts would be deleted after first being sent to the FBI or something like that - nothing!

Nothing, or so I thought... until I took a wee trip over to youtube.com where I was delighted to get "Rick rol'd" with every click. Leave it to google to keep Rick Astley cool, hip and relevant all these years later.

"Scissors" voted the least cool of the gang

In what could very well be the most scientific experiment ever conducted by anyone anywhere, scientists proved that scissors are seen by all who play as being the lamest of the Rock, Paper, Scissor trio.

Back in January of 2006 it was reports, not surprisingly, that Rock has long been considered the coolest but it was never clear whether paper or scissors was the bigger pussy...

When asked for his comments, Scissors only had this to say, "Screw you, dicks" - brilliant.

Well, science won out and now we can all sleep safer in a world where we know, scientifically, that "scissors" is the most loathed of the bunch... I mean honestly, scissors???

Dead At 51 - Gone, but not

forgotten:

Called to meet joe black long before his time, Hollywood and the The entire movie community mourns the loss of Oscar-winner Anthony Minghella.
Perhaps best known for his chilling portrayal of serial killer, Hannibal Lecture, in the Oscar-sweeping film, Silence of the Lambs, Anthony was also a devoted father and loving husband. In recent years, Anthony received critical acclaim when he reprised the character in the sequel and prequel films, Hannibal and Red Dragon.
For years, economists have credited his utterances in Silence of the Lambs as the cataylst triggering the world-wide spike in sales of fava beans and chianti.
Anthony is survived by Lotion in the Basket and a Great Big Fat Person.
Gone but not forgotten, Sir Anthony Minghella. Dead at 51.

Never Back Down disappoints ALL who saw it this past weekend. Upon leaving the theatre, both attendees appeared visibly disappointed. Not even Attendee #1's attempt to wrestle with Attendee #2 in an in improptu imitation of, no doubt, the scenes climax was enough to bring a smile to either of their chagrined faces.

Critics, too, were suitably underwhelmed by the film's plot, character development, soundtrack, and cinematography. According to one, disgusted, critic, "Djimon Hounsou was a great addition to the cast, but I just didn't find his character believable in this performance."

New Look. New Feel. New Attitude

At long last your patience has paid off! Before I could release the real goodies and bits of this site I first needed to figure out how all of this stuff works and doesn't work. I'm still quite in the dark, but I figure I'd just toss my corpse at this and see what happens. Also, that last site was getting impossible to even look at without puking.

So, I'm still experimenting and you can rest assured that this in not way represents the 'final product' but rather this is a work-in-progress and you can count yourself among the chosen, the elite, who will be able to say they were there when it all began - like when Man first landed on the Moon.

In the future, this middle space will be used to keep the loyal readers abreast of whatever while the side panels will link to other sites where the 'topic du jour' will be more deeply delved into (i'm not sure 'delved' i s a word.... is it? Send me an email
